Where can you get married in Hebden Bridge?

Some of the venues have marriage licenses. Or you can get married at Halifax Registry office then book your reception at one of the other locations below.

Gibson Mill at Hardcastle Crags

This picturesque venue is a former mill set in a beautiful wooded valley of Hardcastle Crags.

It has a range of lovely spaces for you to use. The mill itself is licensed for ceremonies and these often take place on the first floor.

Also, it has a courtyard where your guests can relax.

Plus, the small meadow across the bridge is ideal for drinks during summer weddings.

There are great woodland locations nearby for portrait pictures and the lake at the rear makes for a great shot of your full wedding party.

Then in the evening the top floor of the Mill is transformed into a great dance-floor area.

Hebden Bridge Town Hall

This amazing building in the heart of Hebden Bridge has a variety of different spaces, all licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies.

You can choose the large Waterfront Room, which has space for more than 100 people.

Or The Council Chambers, with its circular seating for your guests.

Or The Terrace Room which is an intimate space for smaller ceremonies.

Halifax Register Office

If you’re planning to get married in the Hebden Bridge area then you could choose to do the official bit at Halifax register office.

It has a pretty grassed area at the side for some group or portrait photos, if you want them.

Then you’re free to book your reception elsewhere if you like.

The Birchcliffe Centre

This former Baptist church is an amazing building inside and out.

The pillars and archways at the front make a superb backdrop for group photos and portrait pictures.

Inside, the tiered seating and large stage area create a unique space for you and your guests.

The large floor area in front of the stage makes a great location for your wedding breakfast meal and, later on, a great dance-floor.

The Birchcliffe Centre is available to hire for events, including wedding ceremonies.

Hebden Bridge Golf Club

With stunning views of the surrounding hills and a beautiful function room, this is a great choice for your wedding reception.

You can choose to have photos with the golf course as the backdrop. Or you can have amazing photos set against the colderdale hills.

Site in Todmorden

This pizzeria in Todmorden can be hired for your reception.

It has a cute seating area at the back which is like your own Secret Garden.

Inside the restaurant itself, there’s plenty of seating and bar area. Plus you can see the pizzas being made in the authentic oven.

There’s even space for dancing whenever you’re ready!

The Hinchcliffe in Cragg Vale

This pub is in the beautiful rural valley of Cragg Value. It can be hired out for your reception, with two separate bar areas for your guests to enjoy themselves.
